- Play game Blackjack to improve skills
Based on a score of 21, Blackjack supplies the player with some of the best odds in the house. The objective of Blackjack is for a gamer to come as close to 21 without going over, whilst still having a higher total than the Dealer. Prior to receiving any cards, the gamer must place a bet. The cards are dealt in rotation from the Dealer, left-to-right. The Dealer's hand has 1 card face down and one card face up. If the gamer's card total is closer to 21 than the Dealer's, the Player wins. The gamer wins if the Dealer's card total is higher than 21. The gamer also wins with Blackjack when the Dealer’s score is twenty one made up of three or more cards. If the gamer's total is over 21, the Player loses. Players have the option to play 1 or 2 hands against the Dealer. You have Blackjack when the first 2 cards equal 21.
- Home game blackjack
When you play blackjack at your home, you should take turns being the dealer, to secure fairness in the game (unless the player who is hosting the game specifically has stated that you want to act as the house the entire game and the other gamers agree to this.)
You can switch dealer every hand, every 5 hands or whatever you decide. If you're playing with a single deck of cards, the finest idea is to re-shuffle after every hand. Of course, you do not need a fancy blackjack table to play the game, but you’ll need at least one pack of cards and something to bet with – chips, cash or maybe matches.
- Betting and winning
Each gamer at the blackjack table has a circle or box to place bets in. There’ll always be a minimum bet and a maximum bet for the table. The maximum bet is usually ten to twenty times the minimum bet, meaning that a table with a $5 minimum would have a $50 to $100 maximum. Each gamer decides how much to bet on a hand before the deal.
Each hand will outcome in one of the following events for the player:
Lose - the gamer's bet is taken by the dealer.
Win - the gamer wins as much as he bet. If you bet $10, you win $10 from the dealer (plus you keep your original bet, of course.)
Blackjack (natural) - the gamer wins 1.5 times the bet. With a bet of $10, you keep your $10 and win a further $15 from the dealer.
Push - the hand is a draw. The gamer keeps his bet, neither winning nor loosing money.
